LocationDr. Andrew Ellis is moving into new rooms from Monday November 12th, 2007. His new practice is called OrthoNorth, and is located in AMA House, 69 Christie Street, St. Leonards, on the second floor, Suite 203. This convenient new location is easily accessible by car, train or bus. Christie Street is directly off the Pacific Highway, the other side to St. Leonards railway station. It is a short walk to AMA House, leaving the station under the Pacific Highway. Regular bus services operate along the Pacific Highway. If travelling by car, from the city, turn left into Christie Street from the highway. If coming from the north along the Pacific Highway there is no right turn at Christie Street. The best way to come is to turn left into Christie Street from the highway, go around the first roundabout and turn back along Christie Street, then come straight back across the Pacific Highway at the traffic lights into Christie Street. Parking nearby is fantastic and much better than in our old location in North Shore Private! There is meter parking in Christie Street and surrounding streets. There are also plentiful 2-4 hour parking meters in Lithgow Street (immediately next to the railway line) on the south side of the Pacific Highway. This is a very short walk via Christie Lane to AMA House. The one way system is tricky and Lithgow Street is best approached via River Road or via a circuit Nicholson to Oxley Street. There are two parking stations in Christie Street immediately south of the rooms (100 and 200 metres respectively). One of these is in Norths Rugby Club. There are also two Wilson parking stations, one in Christie Street, on the other side of the road to AMA House, and one with an entrance off Nicholson Street, behind AMA House. You may view and print a map of our location. Please use the Back button to return to this page. AMA House has wheelchair access. There is a disabled car space at the front of the building, (15 minutes waiting only), where there is access along the left hand side of the building. Otherwise, dropping off for wheelchair access would be from the rear of the building, if this space is not available.
